Postcards for business, artists, photographers - or just for sending to your friends. Ideal for advertising your business as an alternative to brochures and flyers. Postcards have full colour glossy fronts and can be printed with your photo, design or logo. Reverse printing in b&w or in full colour is available as an optional extra. Standard postcards are printed on 215gsm white glossy fronted card stock. Cards are printed using a full colour digital process. All prices include UK delivery. Normal delivery times are 5-10 working days, but this may be longer at busy times and for large orders.
Please allow at least 14 days if you have a deadline for delivery. We do not have a express printing service. Postcards are sent by Royal Mail First Class or insured parcel post in the case of large orders.

Image formats - your artwork should be a high quality image file, eg. tif, cpt, psd, high quality jpg, large enough to be printed at a size of at least 1642x1264 pixels. We do not print from Microsoft Word documents. We may be able to redraw your design from this at no additional charge, however we need to see your file before we can give you a decision on whether we can print your design. We cannot print from Microsoft Publisher documents. We can only accept pdf files if they fit the exact dimensions specified below.

If you have a simple design (eg. text on plain background, text with image alongside) you can send us the text/images along with information on the layout, font, colour etc. and we will set up the design for you. This will normally be included in the card price.
If you are sending a ready-to-print design please ensure that it matches our design specifications below.
If you need us to set up a more complicated layout or design then there may be an additional charge.

Design Specifications - if you want to send a full design ready for printing the specifications are as follows:

• Full document size, including bleed and trim area - 142mm x 110mm (1677 x 1300 pixels)
• Cut postcard size - 139mm x 107mm (1642 x 1264 pixels)
• Trim area - please ensure that images and text are at least 3mm inside the cut dimensions of your design
• Resolution - 300-600dpi
• Optimum file size - not more than 8MB
• Colour - CMYK four colour printing

Downloadable templates - we have templates in different formats that you can download and use to set up your cards or to check that your images are the correct size. You can find these on our templates page.

We can design cards to match your website or compliment your existing stationery designs, as a stand alone design and print service, or set and print cards of your own design.

Proofs - we are happy to send you a proof by email so that you can check the layout of your postcards once you have placed and paid for your order. This is not a colour proof. We will supply up to three new proof versions at no additional charge. (Please note that we will not supply a proof until an order has been paid, because of the time and work involved we will make a charge for any unused design work and proofs based on an hourly rate.)
