DELIVERY:

Delivery for small orders of business cards is usually by Royal Mail First Class Post. Larger orders are sent by Royal Mail parcel post. The cost of delivery is included in the prices shown above.

Turnaround times: usually within 5-10 working days. This may be longer at busy times so please allow at least 14 days for all orders if you need your cards by a certain date.

Image formats - your artwork should be a high quality image file, eg. tif, cpt, psd, high quality jpg (uncompressed jpg and .psd files recommended) at least 350dpi (600dpi recommended). If in doubt, download the business card template from our templates page. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any problems.

We do not print from Microsoft Word documents but we may be able to redraw your design from this at no additional charge, however we need to see your file before we can give you a decision on whether we can print your design. We cannot print from Microsoft Publisher documents. We can only accept pdf files if they fit the exact dimensions specified below. NB - if you are sending a layered image format (e.g. a Photoshop .psd) with embedded fonts, please also supply a jpg version so that we can check that there are no problems with font subsitution.

If you have a simple design (eg. text on plain background, text with image alongside) you can send us the text/images along with information on the layout, font, colour etc. and we will set up the design for you. This will normally be included in the card price.
If you are sending a ready-to-print design please ensure that it matches our design specifications below.
If you need us to set up a more complicated layout or design then there may be an additional charge.

Design Specifications - if you want to send a full design ready for printing the specifications are as follows:

New Silk Finish Business Cards - Full document size, including bleed and trim area - 91mm x 53mm (2150 x 1254 pixels at 600dpi)

Cut business card size - 89mm x 51mm (1226 x 703 pixels at 600dpi)

Economy, Standard & Heavier Weight Business Cards - Full document size, including bleed and trim area - 90mm x 52mm (1062 x 615 pixels at 300dpi)

Cut business card size - 87mm x 49mm (1028 x 579 pixels at 300dpi)

All Cards - Trim area - please ensure that images and text are at least 3mm inside the cut dimensions of your design

Resolution - 350-600dpi (600dpi recommended)

Optimum file size - not more than 6MB

Colour - CMYK four colour printing
